Pontsticill - Base of Pen Y Fan

A nice easy walk on mainly paved road.
The whole area below Pen Y Fan and surrounding peaks has some breathtaking scenery.

The site has a small reservoir and a larger now drained reservoir for what has been described as essential maintenance work in 2015 and currently remains drained, affording unique views of this area.

The route starts at Neuadd car park CF48 2UT

The walk is a smidgen under 5km the majority of which is on a very good tarmac road surface
